An ethereal runway-era piece from Maison Martin Margiela, constructed in weightless black silk chiffon with an emphasis on movement, asymmetry, and unconventional structure. Softly ruched chiffon panels are suspended from wide grosgrain straps that wrap around the body, creating tension between fluidity and control. The sheer fabric cascades and shifts with movement, transforming the silhouette depending on how it is worn and layered, while the translucent construction reflects Margiela’s poetic exploration of deconstruction, intimacy, and the body beneath the garment.
